Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @khaan:

The church of santa barbara in kutna hora is really beautiful, it is astonishing for the exterior, different from the usual gothic cathedrals and for the quite imposing interior with the presence of stained glass windows and frescos showing the city life.

I rewarded @khaan entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

On the roof of the National Theater is a fascinating view of the Vltava River and the Prague Castle. I often attend the performance of the National Theater and I always go to the roof where is the balcony full of statues. Watching sunset is also stunning. These two statues of woman looking down like female patriots of the city.

Hmmm, what a great recommendation. I should try and just that next time in Prague. Thank you for your tip and have a great weekend. Tomas

Golden hour sunset over the Silesian countryside as seen and captured from a meadow near the town of Kruzberk. I took this image just some 30 minutes ago while returning from the forest that you can see in the photo.

St Vitus Cathedral is one of the main monuments of Prague due to its Gothic and Baroque architectonic elements. The photo shows one of the stained-glass windows of the cathedral. This window has very vivid colors and it filters the sun light. It is plenty of religious symbolic elements. I understand that these windows were created at the beginning of the last century.

Autumn is not a good season for the photo. It's dark, cloudy sky ... It's cold on the fingers and often fogs the lens.
But there are no leaves on the trees. And so you can take photos that reveal an architecture that would otherwise not be visible.

I like Europe. One of the things I like about European countries is architecture. If to consider the Chech Republic, the architecture of this country is really impressive. That is the prove of it. A beautiful facade which can tell you the story of the city.

So many people, so many lives, so many stories... Each of them has something on their mind. Who knows why they are there. Someone came to spend their vacation, someone... No, perhaps all of them came to Prague as tourists:)

Cesky Krumlov
If Prague is an extraordinary open air museum, Cesky Krumlov is a miniature version of it. Although it is busy, you will find enough rest points on the small surface. You walk through the castle for free. To enter there is (at democratic prices) to pay. Beautiful town. Do not forget the castle's garden!

Cesky Krumlov is a world heritage city that we went to visit from Prague. When you see it, it looks like a fairytale town. Walking through its streets is pleasant, although in autumn they are quite crowded and taken by tourists. You have to be prepared to go up and down hills. Its most outstanding monuments are the castle and the gallery of Egon Schiele, but the beauty of the town would be incomplete without the river that crosses it, where visitors have the opportunity to take a ride in a raft or rafting in a canoe.

Prague Castle
Expect a step count in the tens of thousands, but completely worth it. A lot of restoration works going on at the time but still more than enough to see. Great views over the city once you get near the top. Comfortable shoes are essential. There are a few places to get food and drinks whilst you’re up there.

Old Town Square
Beautiful square that can be used as a starting point for the excursions we want to make. It is best to choose any of the streets that start from there at random and start walking, we will always find some nice and interesting place.
