Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @photovisions:

This is one of my early panoramic works, taken during summer vacation in Czech Republic. Trosky Castle Ruins - amazing castle situated in the high hill among forests with a great panorama over fields, villages and other colorful landscape's mosaic. Worth visiting for all and great thanks to my friend who convinced us to go there!

Today we continue to introduce Prague chateaux. After yesterday from the north of Prague it will be on the opposite side of the town today. The Zbraslav Chateau, formerly a monastery, is located in Zbraslav. One of the oldest Czech books Zbraslav Chronicle was created here. Until 2009, the National Gallery was located here. He is currently in private hands and is inaccessible.

Wow, like that one. Beautiful light.

Great entry deserving to be featured today. Tomas

In Prague there are many street artists performing all different kind of activities. In this photo, you can see a musician playing with cups of water. If you observe carefully, you see a kettle of hot water which is used to fill of water the different cups. The water needs to be in the right temperature in order to get the best sound.

The church of St. El Salvador on Kryzhovnitskaya Square is next to the Old Tower of Charles Bridge. His story began with the old Dominican monastery of St. Clement, located on this place in the XIV century, hence the current name of the complex - Clementinum. The church of St. Salvator, like its towers, is a magnificent example of early baroque.

This is a sculpture of the head of the writer Franz Kafk, this is a work of the controversial artist David Černý, in Prague. This head does not stop moving, it is very incredible and all the tourists caught our attention when passing by, since nowhere have I seen anything like this work of art.

Czech Republic is not only Prague. This country has a lot of very beautiful places to discover. Many nice villages and towns. This photo I took on summer time in Cerveny Kostelec in 2012. .. and missing this warm days now in winter 2018 in Poland ;)

How many have you seen horse riders' statues in Prague? I know about four. In 1918 the Czechs left the Habsburg monarchy. The monarchy and the Habsburg monuments were destroyed. But this one survived. The so-called Kranner's fountain from 1850 represents Franz I, winner of Napoleon. To believe that it is in Prague, I chose Hradčany as the background. Smetanovo nábřeží, Prague 1, New Town

Great info! Thank you for adding some history to the contest.

Look at the details! When travelling around and exploring places, it is good to look at the details of buildings, fountains, walls, etc. You will discover lot of nice things that you might otherwise miss. I took this photo in Podebrady - small city in the Czech republic. As you can see it is a detail of a fountain. I like it. A lot of work and effort went into making it.

In Brno we can find astronomical clock. This clock is not historical as in Prague, but it is unique in its own way. A lot of people have special name for it – you can guess. 5 letters. It starts with a letter P and ends with S. Some people laugh when they see it. The city is very overprotective about its clock. During fireworks it is protected with white cover. And suddenly the p***s clock turns into tampon 😀 I do not know what is worse. But people love it and it is favorite tourist attraction. 😊

The entrance to the Charles Bridge, without a doubt Prague and its architecture is unique ... every corner, every place in Prague is amazing and without counting its food is the maximum in terms of gastronomy.

As were on top of the clock tower and looking out the cityscape of Prague city, we saw some pretty cool things where you can only see from high up. One of them is this building below. There are actually some statues on top of the buildings. You won't notice unless you are at a high place like the clock tower.

Great entry! Interesting what you have to do to enjoy the whole beauty of some places!
