Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

I took this sunset shot some two months ago when biking around one of my favorite places in my Czech hometown, the Silver Lake. I already have a few secret spots along the lake where I come to hunt for sunset photos but I had not taken any shots from this one before. Very peaceful scenery :)

View of the Dancing House, arguably the most famous modernist structure in Prague. It was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot. The building was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996.

One can never get tired looking at this modern piece of architecture that truly stands out. What a great entry to start of the week.

Close-up of the upper part of St. Adalbert Church in Opava, lit by the setting sun. Located in the eastern part of the Lower Square (one of the two main squares in the historic center of the city), the St. Adalbert Church is a majestic Baroque church built between 1675 and 1681. Adalbert is the English version of the Czech name "Vojtech" so the Czech name of the church is "Kostel Sv. Vojtecha" (= St. Vojtech Church).

Paper Swallow, statue in Klementinum, Prague
P1070091.JPG
The Clementinum is a former Jesuit college. It is opposite Charles Bridge in the Old Town. Now there is the National Library.
This plastic statue is a figure from a favorite book. Sitting on the sill of the library's technical library building.
What does the statue say? That, in the digital age, the books are only suitable for the production of paper swallows?
I do not know. I do not even know if the paper thing that flies in English also says swallow ...

The most important holiday in Prague is the walk and enjoyment of the city itself. It contains a large number of monuments of architecture and art, various artistic styles are exchanged. This contrast is probably not where. Baroque, modern, renaissance - all this can be found in Prague. One that is worth dancing house, Charles Bridge, a great clock on the square, Prague Castle and many other unique places to visit and just relax.

it's nice to help people in this way,sir 👍
