Cesky Krumlov. What a fantastic day we have had here. A fantastic tour of the castle, where the bears still guard the castle in the moat. Lovely streets and a very nice atmosphere. Very touristy, but it was more than worth the crowds. There was also a torture museum about the punishments in former times. I felt a little nauseous, but the children loved it.

St. Vitus Cathedral. The building outside it’s already a piece of art, and inside the Golden colors of the columns, ceilings and the many perfect paintings shows an innovative and unique design in architecture. You will need more than one hour for sure inside to see our the many sculptures, paintings and rooms around in details.

A charming bridge, but beautiful decorative figures and details. However, there are many people passing it every day, so it's getting a bit cramped at some times of the day. But otherwise also great views, as well as different entertainment and artists on the bridge. Certainly a must see if you visit Prague.

Sovinec is a castle situated on a cone-shaped hill located in the south-west parts of the Resov hilly region of Bruntal District, in North Moravia, Czech republic. The oldiest part comes from 14th century.

Architecturally stunning, victim of it's own success. The Old Town Square is on everyone's list of must see in Prague, and any time you go there, it can feel like everyone else has had the same idea. It is SO busy with so many people, even during what I would call off peak season. The area itself cannot be faulted and it's understandable why it gets so busy. But having seen it, take yourself out of the centre and explore, Karliń is maybe a 30 minute walk and is one of the prettiest, and quiet areas of Prague.

Located in the tiny South Moravian village of Lednice, some 12 km outside of the town of Mikulov, the Lednice Chateau is a monumental chateau originally built in the 16th century. The current neo-Gothic appearance of the chateau dates back to an extensive reconstruction of the chateau in the 1850s.

Beautiful natural surroundings of the Silver Lake in Opava reflected on the water surface. The lake used to be a gypsum quarry that got flooded by the nearby River Opava in 1964. Soon after the quarry got filled with water, the place became a popular relaxation area for residents of the region and even international visitors from Poland as Opava is located very close to the Czech-Polish border.

Today's photo is from Natural heritage Plešivec. It is a set of stone fields above the village of Kamýk, where is also the ruin of the castle. This place is located a few kilometers northwest of Litoměřice. There is a beautiful view of the western part of the Central Bohemian Mountains. Must have sturdy shoes, as it goes part of the way over loose rocks.

Unmistakable with its White House or Reichstag tunes, the National Museum is a neo-renaissance building that radiates throughout Wenceslas Square. It also serves as the Czech Pantheon, since it houses the remains of the greatest heroes of the Czech nation. Founded in 1818, it does not really assume its role as a museum until 1840. Its collections include rare or simply unique pieces of patriotic art, but also music, history or anthropology. Not to denigrate too quickly, the annex library includes hundreds of works inducted into the national cultural heritage. Only condition sine qua non, read Czech.

Monastery of St.Agnes, Na Františku, Prag, The Old Town. The monastery was founded by Sv.Agnes, a princess of the Přemysl dynasty in 1231. She became the first abbess. The monastery was the first Gothic building in Prague. At the center of the photo we see Agnes´s personal abode. On the left side the church St.Svalvator na right side the church of St. Barbara. In the right part of the picture is a little newer part of the Minorite monastery. Today, the collection of the old art of the National Gallery is located in the monastery.

Inside of St. Barbara’s church in Kutná Hora. This Cathedral seems way too large for small Kutna Hora. Building began in the 14th C when the town rose in prominence due to the silver mining industry. The King established the Royal Mint in the town and it soon became one of the wealthiest towns in Europe. If you look at the walls and windows in the church you will see references to the mining industry everywhere. Ancient frescos show coins being made and silver hammered out. The unique triple spire of the church appears in one of the stained glass windows.

The most picturesque spot in Prague. The Charles bridge is an excellent place for everyone whenever you're around. A beautiful bridge with a lot of pre-wedding shoot happening on it for some reason. Great place to take a few memorable pics. Anytime after 8:30 am, you will see truck loads of tourists here So it is advised to either go early morning or late evening.

I took this picture in Prague, on an evening in late August, when we were walking through the Old Town after having dinner in a typical brewery. I photographed from Via Celetna, the illuminated Prasna Brana tower.

Very busy square as one of the main attractions of the old city. The building is amazing and very memorable. The square is buzzing with tourists and beautiful at night. While there is lots to do in Prague this is really special.
