Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @whimsical-magic:

The church of Konárovice freshly taken yesterday ~ 🤗❤️ ~ there are manifold picturesque villages to be found all over the Czech Republic displaying equally atmospheric ancient buildings. ~ Konárovice is located close to the bigger town Kolin which is reachable by train from Prague in about forty minutes offering a beautiful historic center with various gothic and baroque buildings ~ ✨

The fresh Air, beautiful surroundings and some Czech Pilsner ;) Voila, you got your perfect Day. I've posted pictures of this place before but that does not matter. It is still incredibly pretty. After a days hike, you finally reach the cold and wet gorge with the sun hitting the edges of the forest above you. Time to head home ;) Hrensko, Edmundsklamm.

What's the most remarkable landscape in your opinion? Well, that's probably the wrong approach... Let's put it this way, what the most picturesque?

Cheers,
Dave.

View of the monumental statue of Master Jan Hus, one of the dominant landmarks of the Old Town Square in Prague. Jan Hus was a Czech theologian, Catholic priest, philosopher, master, dean, and rector of the Charles University in Prague who became a famous church reformer, He was executed for his revolutional opinions and criticism of then Catholic Church.

Close-up of the front facade of the Jerusalem (aka Jubilee) Synagogue, the newest and largest synagogue of the Jewish community in Prague. Located in the vicinity of the Prague main train station, the building is an interesting example of Art Nouveau combined with the Moorish style.

This photo was taken near of one of the entrance of the Castle of Prague. I am not sure who is the figure in the statue, I think that it could be Saint John of Nepomuk also known as John Nepomucene who was a Saint of Bohemia. Please let me know if I am mistaken.

The stairs give an interesting touch to the composition of the image.

The Charles bridge seen from above. The picture was taken from the Old Town Bridger Tower, a remarkable attraction in itself, but the view towards the old town and also the castle area is amazing!

Young people gathered around the Old Town Square in Prague late Saturday night when we were visiting to hang out with friends, listen to music, have a few beers, and just in general have a good time together.

The nearly completed skyscraper V Tower in Prague is 104 meters tall and is the third tallest building in the Czech Republic. From the top you can see the border mountains such as Krkonoše or Krušné hory. The house price is nearly 3 billion crowns and there will be 150 apartments.

Prague! I want to return to it again! Walk along the cobbled narrow streets, go along the embankment to the Charles Bridge, or just get lost among medieval houses. There are places there that are very impressive and indifferent in no way will you stay. This is primarily historical areas, where there are buildings in the Gothic style, from which willy-nilly wails fantastic. Gotika - it's always like that, from these feelings you can not escape. It fascinates and attracts its gloominess and unusual. In general, with this type of architecture, I really faced Prague for the first time.

The cathedral of the St. Bartholomew is really impressive with its 102 metres high tower (the tallest in CZ) and its madonna statue. Man can step up to the 50 metres high balcony of the tower and look at the city centre from a birds view. This is amazing gothic cathedtal, the true pearl of pilsen main square, this is must see attraction in Plzen!
