Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @tmayd:

Golden Lane (Zlatá ulička) inside Prague Castle was one of my favorite spots, especially after hours. After most of the tourists have gone on to other things and all the shops close, Golden Lane becomes quiet and you can fully appreciate how lovely it is. The houses have been built along the outer wall of the castle, and apparently when they were first built in the 15th century, they were even smaller than they are now. As they fell into disrepair and rebuilt, their size grew slightly, but even so I find that they have retained their fairy-tale character. Golden Lane After Hours, very much redmended!

"European summer" I live in the Middle East, and I love the warm weather but the summer here is too much and European summer is unbeatable. So much going on, everyone spending as much time as possible outside, as you can see in this photo parents out with their children, mothers taking out for walks their babies, terraces full of locals and tourists and so much life on the streets in a city that you can reach most places by foot unlike back home. Just a backpack and a camera needed to have a great day out in Prague!

That looks like a quite day at Old Town Square. Great image for Sunday afternoon contest. Thank you and have a great Sunday. Tomas

Someday I would like to go to Prague, a city declared a World Heritage Site, by Unesco, it is spectacular those places. The picture is great. I am interested in knowing the panoramic viewpoint of the Tower of Petrin, and the medieval castles near Prague .Thanks for sharing.

Located on the green-covered Petrin Hill, next to the famous Petrin Lookout Tower and the Hunger Wall, the St. Lawrence Cathedral was originally built in a Romanesque style but it was recnstructed later in the Baroque style by the renowned Prague architect K. I. Dientzenhofer.

The entrance to the most beautiful bridge I've ever seen.
The old town Bridge Tower is an impressive structure at the beginning of the bridge at the The Old Town side of the Bridge. According to information about the Tower, it is consideredf one of the most beautiful Gothic gateways in the world. (A gate that has significant symbolic and historic importance to the country). As for travelers, it is one of landmarks for visitors to admire and to remember when visiting Prague.

Kralovska Obora-Stromovka
Beautiful park especially during blooming period in spring or in summer. Nice for walking around, biking, skating or running etc. What a great park, One of the best in all of Prague. Has wonderful views and is a great place to relax on a sunny day. We go here anytime the sun is out to relax and grill with friends. If you are visiting prague and want to see where the locals hang out on beautiful days. this is the place.

I love to buy weird records in the flee market wherever I go.
This analogue photograph was made in Brno, where me and my husband bought this Rangers record. We thought it was a unknown Czech boy band or something, but our friend Pavel told us that they were a huge band and that they were forbidden for a while, and also that in 1971 they were forced to rename the band into Plavci (Swimmers) because the state said that a Czech band name could not be the same as that of "American killers in Vietnam" (the United States Army Rangers).

~ The Darkest Brightest Time ~
overlooking the ˋMoldova River´ after twilight (— also known as the ˋVltava River´ or in my native language German ˋthe Moldau´ —) and thus longest river within the Czech Republic. ~ Well-known Bohemian composer Bedřich Smetana rendered homage to it in one of his most enticing famous pieces & I indeed found myself staying in a historic building were same composer is being said to have written his first opera in Czech language... which gave each night in Prague an ounce of extra meaning ~ 🌟 ~ as if it would have been necessary :)

Prague´s Statues

This picture was taken at the Charles Bridge. The bridge (and several more places of the city) are decorated with spectacular sculptures. I like this picture because is almost like these three men from the statue were shadows on the sky.

Church of St Nicholas in the Old Town Squar
Beautiful Church, is like a museum inside. There is a fee to get in, but is worth it. I have never seen a church like this one wow. speechless.
In a city of a thousand spires, this is an amazing baroque cathedral in Malá Strana.
