Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @sk-russell:

Holy Hill near Mikulov. Great view, great hike. Nice view of Mikulov and surroundings. Interesting rocky trail up. Pleasant hike, spectacular views! Holy Hill is a magical place. It has a special combination of natural surroundings, the location itself is a protected nature reserve where rare species of plants and animals are found.

For many, the beauty of Prague is at its peak at nightfall when its castle, bridges and charming buildings are illuminated.
I took the bridge in photos from all angles. And there are the other buildings: the Spanish synagogue, the theaters, the towers ... I find that at night, when they are lit from the inside, we want to know what's going on inside. It reminds me when, kid, I was looking at the lighted windows of Parisian apartments. I imagined people's lives.

What a great image for today's cover! Have a great Sunday. Tomas

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

"Pohledem na vodu vylepši si náladu" - this sign freely translates as: "Improve your mood by looking at the water" :) It can be found on a bench at the Vrbovec Pond (Rybnik Vrbovec in Czech) that is located in a protected natural area known as the Hvozdnice Microregion. Found in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the country, the reserve is home to numerous animal and plant species.

The perfect walk
My & my girlfriend went there on vacation for 35 days and going to the old Town Square was something we dreamt of long time ago. This place is magical and is something you have to see for yourself. The only downside was that we couldn't see the clock because they were making a renovation on it.

The architecture and beauty of Praga´s houses have nothing to envy to the other Europeans capitals. I was walking, I looked to the right and on a narrow street I found this beautiful home, I would love to own something like this someday!

The Czechoslovak Pavilion at the Expo 1958 was built between 1956 and 1958 in Brussels. After the exhibition, the pavilion was dismantled. And was built in 1959 in Prague on Letná. In 1991 the building burned down and was demolished. He managed to save only restaurant that was reconstructed. Today it serves as an office building. The building has a beautiful view of Prague.

The Old Town is the oldest and by far the most beautiful city part of Prague. The heart of the historical center is the Old Town Square, which stands at the site of a 10th century marketplace, where a number of political and cultural events that influenced Prague's history took place.

It is prague city; even though the weather was not conducive enough, people were still having fun through boatcruise.
What i enjoyed most was the breeze and the view and the fact that a lot of tourists and visitors were around to catch a glimpse as usual.

I've spent 2 hours yesterday in the city centre in Brno (had a train transit on my way home to Slovakia) and made several pictures. This one is of a Petrov cathedral. Built in 1904 it's the dominating feature of Brno skyline and looks just fabulous.

One of the many trademarks of Prague. Certainly one of the most beautiful... Do not miss taking a few steps over it, there's a beautiful view over the city! We had a wander through the town and onto the Charles Bridge. Watching the sun go down in the distance from the bridge is beautiful.

Holy Hill, Mikulov.
Coincidentally, we just came from, when it was sunset. Beautiful views, fresh air. Olomouc at your fingertips. Inversion was little, so the turret sticking out of the mist, romance. Beautiful walks. The basilica is gorgeous.
