Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

For today, I chose something really special. It is one of the best views in the vicinity of Prague. Its name is May, and you will be looking at the Vltava River from that view. The view is about 1 kilometer from the village of Teletín, which is about 25 km from the southern edge of Prague.

Cesky Krumlov is the fairytale town, the kind that you have either only seen in movies or in your dreams. There is something about the this place.Time stands still and you never want to leave. This quaint town is built below the cesky Krumlov Castle and around the meandering Vltava River. Pretty little bridges connect the riversides which are dotted with lovely houses and restaurants. I could go on and on. Prague may be the most beautiful city in the world but my heart lies in Cesky.

Cesky Krumlov has been featured on several occasions but you sold it so well that everyone will want to visit after reading your post when being featured in today's edition.

View of several historic buildings located on the bank of the Vltava River in the center of Prague. I took this image from quite unusual perspective as it was during a boat trip on the Vltava River. The river usually doesn´t provide good conditions for swimming but it is great for some boating.

From the Diana Observation Tower, you can enjoy a remarkable view of the historical centre of the spa town Karlovy Vary. It is Iocated at the height of 35 metres, you can either climb 150 stairs or take the lift.

in Prague there are different ways to visit the city, one of this is with a horse carriage/coach. If the weather allows it they are uncovered. In the photo can be seen one of these coaches transporting tourists in the Jewish quarter of the city, known as Josefov. At the background of the images there is one of the old synagogues of Prague.

Little expensive but what a great way to go around Prague. Just like in the old days.

St. Archangel Michael's Church is a very well hidden Orthodox church, which is located in Petrin's orchards. The church was built in the second half of the 17th century in the village of Velké loučky near Mukachevo in Subcarpathian Russia. Then in 1793 he was relocated to the village of Medvedovce. From where he moved to Prague in 1929.

What an extraordinary story that is! Thank you. Tomas

castle of Jindřichův Hradec.png

This photo is in the castle of Jindřichův Hradec, here I show you a well located in one of the courtyards covered by a beautiful grille, these metal rods form a kind of very beautiful crown that encloses the well, it is a place with a Gothic style that at first sight falls in love.

Great, I love it <3 - I lived in Jindrichuv Hradec for 5 years :)

It's great that you've lived there for so long, I love that place. Everything is so beautiful there<3

Vltava. That's the name of the river that flows through Prague.
I always wonder how the big ships fit under the bridges.
Only when I stand on such a bridge, I realize how tall they are and that it fits.
On this picture you can see the Prague Castle in the background.

If you've been to Prague, you'll recognize this as typical scenery. People, spires and epic buildings. Here Riana is walking towards the oldest surviving church building within Prague Castle, called St. George's Basilica.

Prague Castle is a collection of several architectural complexes. There is the castle itself, but also St. Vitus Cathedral, the Golden Lane, and so on.
Nice walk to walk from the city center. Nice climb to strengthen the calves.

Prague is not in vain called the pearl of Europe. In addition to many historical monuments, the city is rich in "works" of architectural art for every taste. Guiding through the streets of the city is one continuous pleasure. And the streets here are very different. There are large, so to speak, ceremonial. There are ordinary, where people just live.
There are very tiny, on which it is difficult for pedestrians to disperse. There are tourist, on them a living river of tourists is moving.
But even where there are many people, there is no fuss. No one is in a hurry, does not push. Everyone enjoys the beauty of the city.
