Center of vilage, Jinočany, Central Bohemia. Each village and town looks different, but today it unites the same decoration. Christmas tree, crib, Christmas tree decorated, stage for children from local school. The chapel is not very architecturally valuable, but it complements the center of the village along with the well.

Some fun rides and attractions of the St. Matthew Fairs ("Matejska Pout" in the Czech language). The very origins of the tradition of the St. Matthew Fairs dates back all the way to the end of the 16th century.

Prague is a perfect location for the Super Grand Prix and the O2 Arena is big enough to hold such an international horse jumping sport event. The Global Champions Prague Playoffs are really exciting until the last minute. At this level all participants have the skills to win the competition. Out of all horse jumping riders all are men but one woman, the Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander. At last she is the one who wins the Prague Playoffs with a minimal edge. Congratulations to Edwina showing a perfect performance on her horse California.

Let me share another beautiful summer memory with you today. The picturesque Czech countryside lit by the last rays of the setting sun. I took this image somewhere among fields of rural Silesia in July earlier this year.

Here we have a romantic impression with the church of Konárovice (— as the fine home of kestrels & bats —) in the background after the first hoarfrost has been ~ the roses were still preserved and alive in the first grip of cold and now a month later probably safely covered in snow :) Konárovice is a quaint Czech village about sixty miles east of Prague & since so magically connected with my own existence pictures of it quite often make it to this great contest here.

Night shot of the special Christmas decorated tramcar passing through the historic center of Brno. Home to approximately 400,000 people, Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic and a poplar tourist destination as it boasts beautiful architecture.

Christmas lights, Libeň Chateau, Libeň, Prague. The Czech Republic is a rich country and Prague is a rich city. We can afford to waste energy here. In Prague you will find Christmas lights on many public buildings. And because the Czechs are rich, there is a lot of lights on private houses now.

I visited St. Barbara's Cathedral as part of the Express Tour "Kutna Hora - Kostnitsa - Sternberg".
The cathedral has a long history of construction. It began to build more than 600 years ago, then it was stopped to build, then rebuilt. Finally completed the temple only in 1905. St. Barbara's Cathedral struck me with its refinement and refinement. He is so beautiful that he can not leave indifferent. No wonder this cathedral is considered the fourth most beautiful cathedral in Europe, yielding this place only to Prague's Saint Vitus Cathedral.
