Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @kamis:

Today’s photo captures Palava hills (also Pavlov village) and a piece of dam - Nové Mlýny. A lot of rare animals and flowers can be found on Palava hills. This region is wonderful. In summer we can walk and taste wine or ride a bicycle (nowadays is too popular), go fishing, kiting in dam - Nové Mlýny + there is this new museum - Archeopark Pavlov. I hope this is the last picture from this winter and another picture will be more cheerful and warmer ;-)

When walking across the Charles Bridge, the views are beyond incredible but I think my favorite part are the 30 statues that line the bridge on either side. I didn't take photos of every statue but there were more than a few that stood out to me. This was one of those standouts, a statue of John the Baptist. Not surprisingly, it was the gold cross gleaming in the late day sun that really caught my eye, truly a beautiful work of art.

This is one of my early panoramic works, taken during summer vacation in Czech Republic. Trosky Castle Ruins - amazing castle situated in the high hill among forests with a great panorama over fields, villages and other colorful landscape's mosaic. Worth visiting for all and great thanks to my friend who convinced us to go there!

And your entry might as well convince others as it makes a great entrance for today´s edition. Tomas

Thank You. Your contest is a great oportunity for me to search the archives, I visited Czech few times already, not so far from Poland, great direction to spend free time, good beer, beautiful landscapes and many other turist attractions. I loved the Prague since first sight, for me is the most beautiful old town in whole Europe (didn't saw them all, but I am almost sure about it :). Have a great day!

A beautiful view of the Legia Bridge and the Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral opens from a small bridge across the Vltava. This bridge connects the Slavic island and the Vltava embankment near the National Theater of Prague.

The final moment of a grandious light show performed at the Krizik Fountain in Prague. Since 1891 when the fountain was created for the World Expo Exhibition, it has been one of the most impressive technical-cultural landmarks of the city. The stage is surrounded by an amphitheatre for more then 6,000 viewers. Photo taken in summer 2015.

Hi at my today participation I'd like to share with my cityscape photo which was taken from Petrin Lookout Tower with view on Rudolfinum concert hall.

Rudolfinum belongs to the Czech Philharmonic and is its main concert venue. In architectural terms, the Rudolfinum building is one of the most beautiful sights seeing of Prague in the Neo-Renaissance style.

All architectural styles are represented in Prague. But the least, of course, is the oldest one. This is a Romanesque style.
This is the Rotunda of the Holy Cross from the 12th century at the crossroads of Konviktská and Karoliny Světlé streets, Prague 1, Old Town.

Troja Chateau is one of the many chateaux lying on the territory of Prague. It is located near the zoo in the district called Troja. The building is in Baroque style. The construction took place between 1679 and 1685. At present, the castle hosts an art exhibitions.

Wonderful entry!

The view of Charles Bridge from the Legie Bridge. Besides Charles Bridge you can see on this photo some interesting buildings. For example, Straka Academy (a neo-baroque building, which is the seat of the Government of the Czech Republic), Kramář's Villa (the villa of the first Czechoslovak Prime Minister, Karel Kramář. Nowadays it is the official residence of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic)

Today’s picture captures City theatre in Znojmo. It is about 7 years old, taken in March, and comes from my “geocaching phase” collection. I have never been inside. There was hidden geocache near this theatre. I have no idea it this geocache is still there.

Today I'm sharing a photo we took from the clock tower. This view is looking down to see St Nicholas Church. We went during autumn so you can see the leaves were a bit yellow but its a nice touch for the city. Not many tourists when were there which was a plenty experience.
