Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @ansharphoto:

Panorama of Charles Bridge, Prague. One morning I decided to go to Charles Bridge to capture some panoramas. Strangly enough that other photographers rare use panoramic technique when shootimg Charles Bridge and I had an opportunity to make some unique pictures of the very well photographed subject. I created 2 panoramas there - the first one with Old Town Bridge Tower.

Yes the charles Bridge is historic and you cannot visit Prague without seeing the Charles bridge. I was really happy about how happy tourist were for seeing and enjoying this incredible environment.
The only thing i did special was to climb up and take this amazing and awesome shot. The atmosphere that day was serene and conducive after a light rainfall(drizzle).

That is truly nice shot.... A great entry to be featured today. Have a great day and keep on steeming. Tomas

Thank you Tomas for this recognition

Front view of the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, the main church and dominant feature of Kylesovice, one of the neighborhoods of the Silesian city of Opava. The original church built on the site was finished in 1818 but it was completely reconstructed as late as 1995, making it one of the most modern religious buildings in the city as well as in the whole Moravian - Silesian Region of the country.

Panorama of Charles Bridge, Prague

One more panorama from Charles Bridge. After creating more iconic picture with Old Town Bridge Tower, I turned into opposite direction and framed Lesser Town Bridge Tower. It took 4 vertical images to create this panorama and to include statues on both sides of the Charles Bridge.

This shot i took at Prague Castle with view at Charles Bridge. Prague is historical and very romantic city and Czech people call Prague City of 100 Towers (stovezata Praha). Prague is not only about history but aslo about food and Czech beer.

The city of Pilsen. View from the Gothic cathedral of St. Bartholomew, which is the highest cathedral in the modern Czech Republic. Right in the center of the photo is the Pilsen synagogue. Which is the second largest in Europe, after the Budapest. The synagogue can accommodate up to 2,000 parishioners.

Geoth's viewpoint is a 42 meter high brick tower above Karlovy Vary. It was built in the years 1888-1889 and is currently under reconstruction, which should be completed in September this year. Because it is far from the center of the city, the attendance was not high, which should change the bobsleigh track beginning under the lookout tower.

sedlec ossuary.jpg

The Sedlec Ossuary also known as the Church of Bones is one of the most unusual chapels you will ever see. If you think that you saw everything in your life, think again! You would think that it is just an average old medieval gothic church. As you enter the Sedlec Ossuary though, you will soon realize why it is one of the most amazing and unique churches in the world. The Sedlec Ossuary is artistically decorated by more than 40.000 human skeletons.

Křivoklát Castle
A large Gothic castle, originally a hunting castle of the Přemyslids, rebuilt at the end of the 15th century. Gothic palace (across the Czech history or the diversity of styles in Křivoklát). The Knights' Hall and the Great Royal Hall, the castle cellar and the ground floor of the Great Tower where the famine was.

Church of San Pedro and San Pablo

According to legend, it houses the remains of the Roman soldier Longinus, who pierced the left side with a spear crucified to Christ, but later repented and converted to Christianity. However, historians believe that the tomb contains the remains of some kind of representative Přemyslid.

A stunningly beautiful old town square with a lot of magnificient buildings. A massive amount of tourists around though. Good place for shopping, eating and architecture that was largely spared from WWII. Fairly crowded even on weekdays so consider going early.
