I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @calisay:
I accidentally gave an old touch to this Olomouc picture that I took in 2007, and I though that was nice to leave it like this. Olomouc is one of most beautiful cities I've ever been and walking through its streets was like having a time travel to past centuries.

In the Czech Republic it is very difficult to imagine the landscape or panorama of the city of Brno without the pair of towers of the Cathedral of San Pedro and Pablo. These streets today belong to one of the most preferred places where you can take a nice walk or spend a moment of tranquility.
Yep, that sure is a Brno's masterpiece!
Brníčko is a ruin of a Gothic castle standing on a hill above the village of the same name. This village lies about 7 kilometers to Zábřeh in the Moravian district of Šumperk. The first mention of the castle is in 1356 and since 1958 it is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
That is pretty amazing once again!
It is probably one of the most elaborate among the many towers of the city. Attached to the Municipal House by a small arch bridge, this old city gate, is on the border between the old city and the new city (which is not that recent!). It is also one of the most beautiful and offers a panoramic view of a part of the city. Like all the towers of Prague, it is dark in appearance. Dating from the Middle Ages, it owes its name to the fact that it served as a powder deposit much later (sixteenth or seventeenth century memory).
Powder Tower (Prašná brána)
A series of pictures from the Palacky Bridge will end with a traditional view of the Prague Castle panorama. The White Tower on the left side of the picture is the Malostranska vodárna and it is the only historical water tower built on the left bank of the Vltava River. It was built in 1562.
Prague at night. The lights of the city and the river. It is one of the typical viewpoints. On this picture you can see the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. The picture was taken on the way there. The atmosphere is romantic.
I just love walking through Prague at night when everyone is asleep and it is all lightened up.
Oh yeah, this silence of big city, this is one of the best times ;)
Pre-Christmas evening
Every day thousands of tourists pass through the Charles Bridge, hundreds of thousands of pictures are taken ... And everyone finds something new and unique for himself. I present my view of this beautiful bridge. I shot at night, putting the camera on the railing stone.
for today i have this picture , well its hard to believe that this place is really in Prague .
its in the river Moldova mirroring the sky and the wooden construction for ice protection ,its really nice place with so beautiful view
The National Museum of Prague - A beautiful building with many expositions not only about the history of the Czech Republic, but also the Earth as a whole. This 100-meter work of art includes an exposition of the history of Bohemia and Moravia, paleontological and zoological expositions, a collection of minerals and an anthropological collection. Collections of the Museum of Musical Instruments, the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of Physical Education and Sport are located in other exhibition halls.
Church of St Stephen, New Town, Prague 2, Built after 1351, of course repaired and edited into the 19th century.
Matyas Bernard Braun, probably the most significant sculptor of the Czech Baroque, was burried here in 1738.

This is a close-up of the base of Kafka's statue in Prague. The statue is striking in itself, but I particularly appreciate the wink to Kafka's work Metamorphosis that sculptor Jaroslav Róna discretely embedded on the ground with the legs of the narrator-turned-bug sticking out from under the platform.
