Standing at 3,399m above sea level and the 9th highest city on the planet is Cusco. A city in the Peruvian Andes. which was once capital of the Inca Empire, and is now known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture. This photo was taken on a little cobbled street off the Plaza de Armas, the central square in the old city, with arcades, carved wooden balconies and Incan wall ruins. Peru is an incredible country, both culturally and historically. The landscapes are breathtaking. The perfect place to get your Steem on!!!
