Sunrise Trek to Mt Gulugod Baboy Batangas Philippines
13th Feb, 2017 we did a Sunrise trek to Mt Gulugod Baboy, Batangas, Philippines.
Starting early morning at 4am with my cousin Panga and met by 2 local guides we first visit the registration site to sign in and pay our fees.
The ascent was steep but fun under torchlight and dodging some cow droppings along the way. Close to two hours after we are below the peak. We have the campsite and I feel this would also be nice to do another time as we only planned to see the sunrise and for me to be back at the base by breakfast to join some friends for a triple boat dive.
Reaching the top we were hit with some high winds and fog/rain clouds that reduced visibility but the experience of the whole trek is pretty awesome and would recommend for anyone visiting the area.
Totally awesome place to camp and just imagine watching sunrise/sunsets here or stargazing and milkyway shots.

Cool place, how many hours was the hike?level of difficulty?
Its probably 90mins to 2hours each way depending on speed. Its a little steep but still on the easy side. There's also a parking lot for cars near the camping spot which take an alternate route for the super lazy but I think its better to enjoy the trail.
