Pink Lakes
The bright pink color of the water is not the photoshop nor the superimposed filters. So there are several lakes in the Kinelsky district of the Samara region. These lakes are artificial, regular rectangular shape.
Initially, when the first frames of these unusual reservoirs hit the net, several versions were voiced, why the water acquired such a color. The first is that there was a dissolution of rocks at the bottom of the lake. Second - what kind of algae, working out a red pigment. And the third - chemical pollution - in fact near these ponds are several enterprises: feed, concrete, brewery and pig complex. As a result, the third version was confirmed. And judging by the scents coming from the lake - yeast and malt, the source becomes clear.
If you look at the historical images from the satellite, then until 2010 the water was a normal color. After 2010, the water changed color several times, then in yellow, then in turquoise, then in red.
