Great shots and story. I'm doing a series on Portugal, up to 15 posts now. Mostly set in the Algarve so far- from the perspective of a Canadian staying there for a few months in the winter. Check it out and let me know what you think.

We stayed in Manly, decided we're not much into cities now but had to visit the Opera House. I could spend days there, such great shots inside and out. Not sure how far back you went in my blog but this is the first one I did of the Opera House, and I'm really pleased with it:
