Barefoot Beach BBQ in Pattaya, Thailand.
You can sit directly on the beach, with a cool breeze, kick off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes as you listen to the waves gently rolling in and the smell of fresh seafood cooking on the BBQ....Perfection.
We had planned to go to one of our favourite seafood restaurants just south of Jomtein Beach in Pattaya, Thailand. However, when we got there it was a nightmare. Due to it being Chinese New Year, it was full with people spilling out on to the street and a bunch of stressed out looking service staff. That wasn't what we were after. We had noticed that the Movenpick Hotel Chain had just opened a beautiful new complex not far from where we were, so we thought we would check out their restaurant selection.

Luckilly we stumbled upon Le Costa Restaurant and Bar, and they were offering a 999baht ($28) all you can eat seafood BBQ. We arrived a little late, so some of the selection had already gone, and it wasn't the greatest spread of choices, but I wasn't complaining, as what it lacked it top quality it made up for with the environment.

We sat under the moonlight right by the beach, and I didn't bring my good camera, so my pics were taken on the phone in the dark, but I hope that you can get the impression of the meal. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I hope to stay at the Movenpick next time I visit as they have an amazing pool.
While its good going back to visit old favourites, its always fun discovering something new... :)

Thanks for your dropping by. For me atmosphere is every bit as important as food, and I'm a beach boy through and through, so if you tell me I get to take off my shoes and eat my dinner on the sand, I'm sold !
