📸 LISBON #2 PHOTOGRAPHY
Dear community, this is my second post about the fantastic city of Lisbon. I was there for work and had no clue what to expect. Well, this is for sure the best way to fall in love with a town & a local culture.
I was so impressed with the architecture, the relaxed people, the wonderful graffiti culture, the way they deal with life and social problems such as drug addiction, which used to be a major problem in Portugal but they solved it in the best possible way and invested the money, which was used for fighting drugs in education and support of ex-drug addicts. I wish Austria will use their example. Here the problem is very big. They also legalized drugs, which is a bit crazy for my actually conservative and totally anti-drugs mindset, but the results show that it has been a great idea.
They are very open-minded to other cultures. I love the mix of Cape Verde music on the streets of Lison.
The weather and sunshine in winter are a total blessing.

i absolutely fell in love with Lisbon when we were there for Steemfest 2- the street art totally took me by surprised. I loved it! Your shots brought back such great memories, thank you!
Hello, thank you for you nice comment. I can totally relate to your words. Where do you actually see where are all the steem meetings? I would love to visit some of them.
Well steemfest is the only “official” one I know of and that’s once a year - but! I think that folks organize local meet ups all year round- it would be cool f we had one place for everyone to post meet ups though!
Steemfest will be sometime next November I hope you can make it it was really incredible to experience
