The ruling family of Gondal were known to be huge car enthusiasts and their vast collection of automobiles is on display in the museum located in the palace premises. There is even a replica of the Big Ben, do not be surprised if you spot Vintage Ford and Buick taxis.

Resonating the beauty of the Thar Desert, you might come across a mini-lake that springs out of nowhere. But be warned, it might only be a mirage!

at a distance of about 45 minutes drive from state capital – Shillong via Smit. This unique gorgeous place is nothing but surreal. Once atop the panoramic Laitlum Canyon, a visitor is greeted with a majestic view of the grassy valleys and tiny hamlet called Rasong, which lies deep below the sheer gorge amidst nature’s lust greenery grandeur in all its beauty of the Laitlum gorge.

The church was built in the 19th century by French missionaries, and was abandoned in the 1960s after the construction of a dam nearby. What makes this church so special is that it’s partly submerged during the monsoon season. Visitors during the monsoon will need to pay a small fee to be taken by coracle (boat) to the ruins.
