Prague Panorama

I have a sad story about this photo...It's one of the only 3 surviving photos I had from my 6 month Europe road trip where I leased a car and used it as a camper crisscrossing all over the continent.

What happened?

When I got back to the U.S., I thought I had everything backed up and I accidentally dropped the main hard drive with all my photos. I frantically tried to make a copy of back up hard drive and found out that it wasn't a complete copy of the original.

These were the only photo I recovered from the broken HD.

Lesson learned. Dump everything in the cloud!

I had a similar experience a few years ago in Thailand, handed my camera around to show photos and accidentally someone deleted the memory card. A German menu and a French-speaking girl do not necessarily understand each other, fortunately I was able to save some pictures with a program to be exact 800 of over 1000.
At first I was dissolved.

Next time you will be in Czech Republic write me an I will give you tips for other interesting places here. :-)

I'm sorry you've lost those photos, but hey you can still get more photos in the future. You just have to make sure to have several backups in case of accidents or theft. Anyway thanks for sharing the remaining ones.

I backup all my photos to the cloud nowadays :)

Sorry for your loss, but glad you learned the lesson. However, good excuse to do it again, another trip that is to Europe.
