Arriving to magical lauterbrunnen | Switzerland travel series #3

In the evening , we finally arrived to Lauterbrunnen and instantly fell in love with the place.

We traveled at the end of September and let me tell you it's one of the best time to visit . The colorful flowers and you could see the fall color everywhere, it was so beautiful.But the weather was chilly in the evening and early morning so you need a jacket to keep warm.

We stayed four nights at valley hostel ( the red one ) , our balcony was facing the incredible view of the mountains. To be honest , there isn't a bad view in Switzerland at all.Our private room at the hostel was really nice ( extremely clean) and shared the bathroom with another room .They also had kitchen , where we cooked our breakfast and dinner.

And then we went for a walk, The name Lauter Brunnen means “many fountains” and its famous for its cliff waterfalls, you will hear the sound of the water while walking around the valley.

There were hotels and restaurants, but we found most of them to be very empty.

Found another waterfall. Staubbach Falls is the third highest waterfall in Switzerland with a height of nearly 300 meters. There was a hiking trail but we decided not to hike up as it was already dark .

Another empty restaurant! We went back to our hostel and cooked our dinner. The only supermarket in the valley closed quite early, so make sure you check the opening time.Good night from lauterbrunnen.
