Abolitionist Abstractions Vlog 33: Post Fest blues? Not just yet!
Here is the latest vlog! This one was recorded on Wednesday, which was my last full day at the Stone compound. My partner in van nomadism, @shaneradliff, took off earlier in the day to continue his journey to Austin, but I opted for one more night with the Stones. Plans are being formulated to hopefully create some more small festivals/camping trips, so that there are more opportunities for meetups and bonding experiences. While having your internet anarchist friends can help one feel less alone, getting to hang out in person is much more enjoyable.

Yeah, I feel like a jackass for not going to Ben at all for the LUA episode; I didn't know he wanted to hop on a podcast though and wasn't going to pester him since he was formerly retired and all. Oh well! We still got one with him.
Right there with you, man. It was one hell of a week and quite life-changing. My passion and motivation for creating these free, autonomous zones has increased drastically. Life's better with the tribe, whether it's 2, 5, 10, or 100 people.
I can definitely see a series on TVP discussing how to bring them into fruition. It needs to happen like yesterday. I can't stand the servile society. Lol.
Anyways, we'll make it happen again soon, hopefully before the next fest. Might be heading up east to Jamin and Karen's this year sometime. We'll see.

I like your idea about having some campsite meetups. I know a a great place in the Daniel Boone National Forest with plenty of room for around 50 to 100 people. I know we would be lucky to get at least 20 to get together, but let's be optimistic about the future. I keep good notes of good camp locations on my travels.. Arkansas has some nice spots too. Do you know any anarchist in Arkansas or Kentucky, cause I don't. Wonderful spots in New York, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts as well. Probably more anarchists in those areas. Anyone know any anarchists in Kentucky or Arkansas?
Yeah, the additional meetups/camping trips were actually Henza's idea. I'm just building on that. definitely keep a list of places if you can, though. Once I'm finally free to leave this hellhole for good, I would really like to start doing these types of things once a month or so.
I'll have to ask around about KY and AR. I think I do know some folks but I can't think of them at the moment.
