@transparencybot needs your help now
Transparency is under attack. And this has been going on for a while. Apparently it is dangerous for everyone to see the breakdown of what goes into a bidbot vote. And guess what? My old friend @fyrstikken and his alter ego @booster, a well known bidbot service is spearheading the campaign.
So what IS @transparencybot?
In short: it posts a breakdown of what is going into a bidbot vote if the bidder spends more than 50 dollars on it. Useful information in case you wondered about the economics behind it.
Personally I find it to be a valuable service and so should buyers of votes.
And apparently knowing is dangerous
This is what I found in one of the recently downvoted reports posted by @transparencybot:

What can you do?
you can follow transparencybot and vote on its daily newsletters
you can delegate steem power to the bot
you can unvote @fyrst-witness, the foundation for @booster
Why does this matter?
Steemit relies on trusted witnesses in order to run. They are elected by the users and they pretty much decides what code to implement. Mixing business with witnessing is an upper hand in the competition with other services like @booster.
@fyrst-witness is far from alone in mixing trust (witnessing) and moneymaking side business. I'll get back to others in the same position later.
6/1/2018. @Tranparencybot Update.
As of 6/1/2018 - @Booster owned by @fyrstikken, has made the decision for the platform as to when, how much and where transparency is allowed on the platform. Since @booster has more than one million SP, there is really nothing that @transparencybot can do own its own and for that matter, it never has been about what it could do on its own.
I have no ill feelings for @fyrstikken, I believe he feels he is just protecting his business and I wish him much success on Steemit, yet I do believe that the rewards pool is being destroyed by bidbots in exchange for some quick profits.
As a result of these paid voters, which bypass the natural curation process, our platform's value and the price of Steem will continue to drop as long as bidbots are allowed to boost questionable quality articles onto our "front page" for all the world to see and judge.
@Transparencybot will continue to post, although without community support, these posts will be hidden. It is up to you, community, it has always been up to you!
Just go on and post the daily reports and I will personally make it public the abuse that is going on. @fyrstiken has clearly lost it when he thinks he can get away with threats of violence. The shitshow will backfire. Just wait and see.
It is going to take a community, and your words are very true .. I'm very happy to have your support and the support of many others these past several weeks!
As you say, I'm sure many others will find violence and personal threats to be utterly atrocious traits for leaders on this platform, yet again, I have no ill feelings for ANYONE that may or may not agree with my viewpoints.
Tranparencybot is simply bringing information to the forefront to allow others to make important decisions, through fruitful discussions, which will most certainly impact the long term health of our platform.
How we respond to bidbots now will determine what is left of this platform tomorrow.
Im supper pissed that some dick decided that he can flag someone to abyss based on false accusations. "Guilty torture" ffs... Hope I will be able to help :)

Why can't he keep his comments off my page? He can make a list of all the bid bot buyers and post it on his page, I c9nsider spam and the reason he's doing it is to fish for upvotes. He's spamming charity posts that paid for a 50 dollar vote the same as he spams 1000 dollar posts. The work abusereports does is what you should be supporting and delegating too, there are several good bots, why support for profit comment spam? https://steemit.com/@abusereports
