Confucius

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. (Confucius)

Yes wisdom can be learn by reflection, imitation, and experience. These three factors are very important for Wisdom, and we can not neglect one factor. Thanks for sharing.

Having learned to be wise - then it is to be considered how one is using this wisdom.

From the Buddhist's I've heard a very interesting statement when it comes to skills: "it is good to be able to concentrate, meditate and contemplate. Now, an assassin can do that to." As I understood it, on top of all skills ethics at the base makes the difference.
