Kind of Indonesia Traditional Cigarettes
This time I come with new information. I bring this kind of topic to the people who want to know about tradional things. Young generations must know the herritage of their ancestor. Well, you better check it out guys.
Klobot

Klobot is a kind of traditional cigarrate where the tobacco is rolled or packed by using dried corn peel which is javanesse langguage called Klobot. The klobot is most comsumed by the fisher/sailor and the highland people. Those people love this cigarrete because it is not easy to light out even touching sea water. Whereas, the highland people like the klobot because it produces much smoke, heavy sucked , and keeping their body warm so that it is suitable to consume in cold area.
Kawung

Kawung uses the top of leaf that come from the bud of sugar palm which is used as cigarrete pack. The benefit of its leaf is believed to heal the asthma. Meanwhile, the roll of kawung contains original tobacco that is usually used by local people of Ciptagelar to heal the liver as their ancestor did. The Sundanesse, including Ciptagelar, smoked kawung daily, when they are doing farm work, trading, and social activit. It is counted, 90% people of Ciptagelar are smoker. There is catchword "Smoking Please", instead of "Do Not Smoking". Weird heuh!
Cheroot

Cheroot is the permanent roll of tobacco that is dried and fermantated, so this pack of cigarrate is made from the leave of tobacco. One of the centre that produces this kind of cigarrete is in Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia. Well, this cigar is not quite popular in my country, only few people smoke this thick thing.
Rukok Oen
Rokok oen or nipa leaf cigarette is one of many traditional cigarette that I ever know when I was a kid my grand dad allowed me to taste the nipa leaf without puting tobacco because it is believed the nipa leaf can kill the toxin and it can not cause the asthma, that is why this cigarette mostly consumed by the old man. This cigarrete is popular in Aceh Indonesia, since the colonial accupied this region. They used nipa leaf instead of paper to roll in. The tobacco that is mostly used from Gayo where this highland area provides good quality tobacco. Nowdays, this cigarette is not so loved by young generation for some reasons.

Thanks. You gotta try those kind of cigarettes. Actually, the herb is not used in those cigarettes but the tobacco is naturally planted and well treated. There is no such significant toxin in tobacco. In other hand, it is purely hand made. So it is far healthier than manufactured one.
