COLLEGE STUDENTS, TRY TO WIN 5000 EUR!
Are you a college student or are you a parent of a college student that is studying at any European University faculty? Do he likes trading or do he wants to experience trading with all the stress, heat, but also the big gains? Do he wants to show off his skills and even earn some money for yourself and his faculty? Would he likes to trade forex, futures and stocks?
Not many college students know about this and I think it's a shame. Only 158 teams (minimum of 3 students per team) were in this competition previous year. That is like going just against 158 traders!
I am going to tell you more about it.
If you have ever traded forex you probably know about all the competitions that you can join, even right now. You are offered virtual money and the best traders will win real money on the broker's site with or without a wager linked into them.
There are always times when there are some really big competitions - like 1 Million Dollars Forex World Championship on XM where everybody with an account could join. XM is a serious broker and the amount of people trying to win this is so huge that it is very hard for anyone without much experience to be even able to be in the leaderboards.
This is the seventh edition of the University Trading Challenge by Directa S.I.M.p.A.
However this is a competition that only college students can participate in.
This year they changed the rules and now, there are two phases. They probably split it to two phases, because the previous year every one of those team got a real account with 5000 EUR for trading and a lot of them lost this money quite quickly.
- The Qualifying Phase
- The Final Phase.
Qualifying phase will be traded on a demo account with virtual money. Only thing you have to in this phase of the competition is to be one of the best of 25 teams. The qualifying phase will begin on September the 5th, 2017 and will end on December the 7th 2017. That is a lot of time so if you will be joining, don't stress. In the end, people playing it risky will probably lose.
Final Phase is then on the real account with 5000 eur. Any gains realized in the final phase is divided among team members whereas losses will be borne by Directa. How awesome is that?
