THY Airbus Ve Boeing Siparişleri Verdi
Thy yönetimi daha önce yapmış olduğu Eylül 2017'de Boeing ve Ocak 2018de Airbus firmaları ile imzalanan niyet anlaşmaları çerçevesinde siparişlerin kesinleştiğini duyurdu.
KAP’a yapılan Türk Hava Yolları özel durum açıklamasında; “Ortaklığımız Yönetim Kurulunca, geniş gövde uçak ihtiyacının temini kapsamında 2019 yılında 6 adet, 2020 yılında 14 adet, 2021 yılında 10 adet, 2022 yılında 12 adet, 2023 yılında 11 adet ve 2024 yılında 7 adet olmak üzere, 50 adedi kesin ve 10 adedi opsiyon olmak üzere toplamda 60 adet geniş gövde uçak satın alınmasına karar verilmiştir. Buna göre, Boeing firmasından 25 adet kesin, 5 adet opsiyon toplam 30 adet B787-9 tipi yolcu uçağı ve Airbus firmasından 25 adet kesin, 5 adet opsiyon toplam 30 adet A 350-900 tipi yolcu uçağı satın alınacaktır” denildi.
Dünyanın en modern teknolojiye sahip uçaklarından olan Boeingin 787-9 ve Airbus'un A350-900 modellerini Türkiye'de ilk defa yerli bir havayolunda göreceğiz. 3. Hava alanın pist uzunluğu yeterliliğiyle artık geniş gövdeli ve devasa büyüklükteki uçakları Istanbul'da göreceğiz.
