MİTOLOJİ DİZİSİ 7 - Sanat Tanrıçaları: İlham Perileri / Goddesses of Art: Muses

Eski insanlara göre dünyada doğayı denetim altında tutan ve insanlarla bağlantı kuran yüzlerce tanrı ve ruh bulunuyordu. Olympos’taki tanrılar kuşkusuz en güçlü olanlardı ama söylencelerde çok sayıda başka tanrıdan da söz ediliyordu. Bunlar ünlü Olympos tanrılarından daha güçsüz ve daha az görkemli olabilirlerdi ama bu ikinci dereceden tanrılar klasik mitolojide önemli bir rol üstleniyordu.

Zeus ile Mnemosyne’nin kızları olan ilham perileri müzik, sanat şiir, dans ve genel olarak güzel sanatlar tanrıçalarıydı. According to ancient people, there are hundreds of gods and souls who control nature and connect with people in the world. The gods in Olympos were undoubtedly the strongest, but there were many other gods mentioned in the myths. These could be less powerful and less glorious than the famous Olympos gods, but these second-degree gods played an important role in classical mythology.

Zeus and Mnemosyne's daughters were the goddesses of music, art poetry, dance and generally fine arts. These goddesses were honored by poets and artists who inspired them and created their works. Zeus and Mnemosyne created nine muses after nine days copulated.
