Saksağan Kuşları
Saksağan, kargagiller familyasındandır.
Boyları ortalama 46 cm civarıdır. Kuyruk uzunluğu 25 cm'yi bulur.
Avrupa'dan Asya'ya kadar ve Kuzey Amerika'yı da içine alan ağaçlık bölgelerinde görülürler. Güney Çin'de ve Hindu Çin'de yaygındırlar. Türkiye'de de sürekli görülen yerleşik kuşlardandır.
Saksağanlar aşağı yukarı 7-8 yumurta yumurtlayarak kuluçkaya yatarlar.
Saksağanlar özellikle dikkat çekici renkli eşyalara bayılırlar ve onları çalarak yuvalarına götürürler.
Kendisinden büyük birçok hayvana da saldırır ve rahat vermezler.
Saksağan Çeşitleri; Âdi Saksağan, yeşil Saksağan, mavi kanatlı Saksağan, sarı gagalı mavi Saksağan en meşhurlarıdır.
Resimdeki kuşun tüylerinin rengi çok güzeldir. Böyle saksağan görmemiştim.
