Calif. Congresspersons who voted to Fast Track TPP
Five California Congresspersons voted to Fast Track TPP. They are:
Ami Bera - CD 7 (Elk Grove, Folsom, Rancho Cordova) - running in a competitive CD vs. Rep. Sheriff Scott Jones
Jim Costa - CD 16 (Fresno, Madera, Merced) - very unprogressive Dem. but appears to be firmly entrenched
Susan Davis - CD 53 (San Diego, El Cajon, La Mesa) - member of New Dem. Coalition (as is DWSchultz)
Sam Farr - CD 20 (King City, Monterey, Salinas) - has announced his retirement (so will owe nobody his vote)
Scott Peters - CD 52 (San Diego, La Jolla, Poway) - running in a competitive CD so should be receptive to us
Progressives and others in favor of lowering pharmaceutical prices as well as all others who want to keep multinational corporations from trumping U.S. sovereignty need to write, call & urge these five to oppose TPP if it comes up at any time before the new Congress is installed.
