Upgrading my son's tires on his toy car

in #toy6 years ago

We got my son this Paw Patrol Chase 6V Paw Patroler for Christmas and he loves it. I take him outside as much as I can so he can ride it. The only thing is that the wheel keeps slipping so he gets stuck a lot and I have to push him for it to keep going. Our yard is mostly grass or dirt and there's a lot of spots that cause the tire to slip.

I got fed up with it so I'm in process of upgrading the back tires to provide more traction outside. I got a bike tire and practically cut it in half. From there I have small screws that I will be using to drill the tire to the plastic tire. I almost finished one, but I need to cut about 1/4 inch before I screw the final screws.

The other tire I'm going to need my wife's help because I cut it a little too short and I will need her help to stretch it just a little bit to make it work. I'm going to have it done by tomorrow so if I remember I'll post a picture of how it looks. He's going to love it once I'm done!
