Very good post. I have lived a long life of 81 years. I understand what you are saying in your post concerning "faux caring". I think people are so shocked at some of the inhumanity that goes on today and they want to empathize and do their best to convey that message.

I understand that we are 10% physical and 90% spiritual beings.

In my life I have had things happen where there was no apparent way I could go on and have the life I had worked for and envisioned for myself. But, some how and some way through the grace of God things worked out. I am a staunch believer in prayer and how it changes things. It is amazing that the path is not what I had envisioned but, looking back, was the best way for me.
