The mistery of The Tassili N'Ajjer

Many ancient civilizations that amazed us with its vagueness and puzzles that could not be deciphered by scholars and experts such as the Mesopotamian civilization and its palaces or the civilization of Egyptian and its pyramids to the Roman civilization and its giant structures and other civilizations that were left behind a drawings and symbols on the walls of its buildings to commemorate them, but let us go back more in time to prehistoric civilizations, in to the time of primitive man and take a look at it and what she left behind her, and specifically we will talk about Tassili mountain range and its caves or also called Tassili N'Ajjer that is located in the Algerian Sahara which is one of the biggest puzzles left by primitive man.

  About 2,000 km southeast of Algiers, the Tassili Mountains are situated within a mountain chain with volcanic rock formation at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters above sea, its width is from 50 to 60 km and 800 km long, with an

area of 1200 square kilometers, as for Tasili caves it consist of volcanic rock and sand formations known as stone forest.

  Studies have shown  that the Great Sahara in which Tassili is located were a wet and grassy areas during the Neolithic period between 5000 BC and 2500 BC, where primitive humans settled it, and he lived on hunting the animals that lived in that area, and as human is social by his nature he left some inscriptions and drawings on the cave walls to commemorate the ways and forms of life, these drawings were divided by researchers into four phases which is :

1/ The Papal phase 5000 BC : Also called the phase of wild fishing, this period consists of drawings of some huge animals such as hippopotamus and rhinoceros and pictures of men holding fishing rods, most of these inscriptions were found in Wadi Jubairat
2/ The Bofidi phase 4500 BC to 2500 BC : In this phase man begain breeding some animals Where it found drawings showing people with herds of cattle Most of the drawings of this era were found in the Tassili region.
3/ The phase of horses, about 1200 BC : At this phase human begain breeding horses to used in tow carts
4/ The Camels phase 1200 BC and after : Scientists believe that at this stage the region was exposed to desertification
so they replaced horses by camels whose drawings began to appear on the rock walls.

 One of the biggest historical fallacies which occurred on this subject is to say that the first discoverer of Tassili's drawings is The French researcher Henri Lhot which is not true. The true explorer of these caves was a man from the Tuareg tribes his name is "Jebrin Ak Mohamed Ak Mechar Ak Bou Baker " , where the French researcher used the knowledges  of Bou Baker of the region to access to the cave sites then he attributed the Discovery to himself when

he published a book in 1965, ignoring the contribution of Bou Baker, but he admitted the role of Bou Baker latter under the pressure of the Algerian state.

Tasili caves and Aliens 

Now, let's talk about the most important puzzle of Tasili, where it found a unique and strange drawings not aligned to
the lifestyle of that era including images that do not resemble to humans or animals, and others appear in the form of space allowances, also there are drawings of people sitting in spacecraft, completely as we see it in movies .

These images have caused a shock to archeologists, such most of them Classify that drawings like the discovery of the Tomb of Tutankhamun. Several theories emerged and tried to explain the strange nature of these drawings, most important, we find three

1/ The Aliens visit : Who talks about Aliens who comes from the stars, but this opinion was face it with great opposition from scientists by asking, if it was true why that Aliens doesn't comeback and where doese them gone?
2/ The theory of the lost Atlantis : The authors of this theory presume that a group of survivors of that continent sinking moved to Tassili to settle there and they transferred their knowledge and put it in drawings on the walls of those caves, but this theory found also an objection because atlantis was very far from the Tassili and it's unlikely to its population to reach those areas.
3/ The theory of advanced civilization : This theory remains the closest to ratification for most of scientists where it expect a developed civilization in that region, she left all those drawings, but the reason for her disappearance remains a puzzling mystery.

We note that all these explanations remain incapable of reaching facts that can solve this mystery, then graphics and inscriptions stay among the strangest discoveries known toman, archeology did not find an explanation.
