What is your rationale for calling this post plagiarism and spam? It seems like informative original content from a personal interview David had with representatives from a real company. Please explain.

It is possible that the author is the same on the link, particularly as this poster references the same website on his profile. However if that is the case, he should link the original article, state that he is the original author, and provide some evidence.

Check the link Cheetah bot posted. There is no reference to that content here and no way to confirm they are the same author. Even if they are the same author, that has to be stated (and proven) to avoid plagiarism concerns. On top of that, they were spamming comments with a link to this post (that's how I found this post).

This stuff has to be downvoted and flagged if we want to protect the value of Steemit. More on that here

Viewing the other content form this account, it appears to be videos taken from other people. These accounts should not gain any of the rewards pool that would otherwise go towards original content.

The other content on this site are the author's posted videos on youtube, all his own original content. It is customary for people who post videos on other social media sites to discuss them on steemit because youtube wont allow monetization of original content that disagrees with mainstream dogma. Youre a clueless troll. Youve accused the author of linking to his own content as plagiarism.

I have been here for over a year and am a witness. I assure you, I'm not a "clueless troll". I'm sorry if I made incorrect assumptions about the dtube videos. I have yet to see verification (other than a Steemit comment) that this is, in fact, the same person.

This author was already warned about plagiarism over a year ago as you can see here. They should know by now what is acceptable and what is not. If they were the author of the original content of this post and can prove it, I will gladly remove my flag.

Edit: I'll tell you what, I'll go ahead and remove my flag. I hope the original author checks their comments to see this discussion so that next time they will properly source their content and avoid this in the future. If they want to leave links to their post in comments on my blog, I would hope they'd at least bother to reply here.

@lukestokes, that year ago plagiarism was me starting to post my original content from my YouTube videos, but others had already uploaded my content, so when I went to load the content I created, it was flagged as plagiarized. My own content and I couldn't post it. Where were you then?

I only noticed your content this time because you used the same comment posted multiple times linking to it. This is a social network meant to be social. Thanks for replying and being social. If you had replied earlier, I would have removed my flag earlier. Please don't spam comments but instead add value to conversations.

I like this original content. I am following.

Question, who slammed my post "Ankorus CEO John Cruz CEO Discusses Anchor Tokens and how to Tokenize your Financial Assets"? That was original content posted no where else on the internet. It got so heavily slammed by down votes that it went off the chat board. Did you and your colluding moderators make that happen? I read your post about working together with other moderators to flag content and down vote it.

David and adapt 2030 are one in the same. Remove it troll.

I already did last night. It seems a follow vote done by a service I use didn't properly remove itself for @lukestokes.mhth. I went ahead and did that manually just now.

I'm not a troll, I'm working to protect the network from spammers and plagiarists. This person spammed the comments on my post and others and linked to a post which is a complete copy of content already online. They haven't bothered to reply to any of my comments pointing this out. This is not what Steemit is about. Steemit is a social media network for original content and social interaction. As I mentioned above, they were warned about this over a year ago.

What if this is someone who is creating a fake account and pretending they are David DuByne?

It seems like we should try to contact him via known channels, like Youtube or OilSeedCrops.org and ask if this is his channel on Steemit.

Good Afternoon Kevin, its me. Whats so ironic is that when I try to post my own original content here in Steem, its listed as plagiarized because someone else already stole my content and uploaded it. The response form Steem, was you need to load immediately after you upload to YT, not about flagging the content. So goes the Twilight Zone of decentralization.

I resteemed your article because this IS good original content.

@lukestokes, I am the author for the original post for oilseedcrops.org. Did you even bother to read the byline of who the author was and match the names and crossover form the site to steem?

This post by cheetahbot explains why non-original content and not linking to the source are not a good thing. If you hadn't spammed my post (and others) with your comment linking to this, I never would have bothered you. I removed my flag. To avoid someone else potentially flagging you in the future, I suggest not copying and pasting whole articles. Instead, give a summary and link to the source.

Thank you Steemit Sheriff.
