Today I learned...How To Sneeze In A Different Language!

Up until the other day I had thought that sneezing was an involuntary reaction that we all performed in the same way, like blinking or coughing.

Apparently not! The noise you make when sneezing depends on what country you're in, or more accurately, what culture you have either grown up in, or been immersed in for a very long time.

The noise I make as an English person is different to an Indian Hindi, a Russian, or Japanese person! To further freak your head out, deaf people don't make a noise at all when they sneeze, which kind of makes sense when you think about it.

All of this was an incredible revelation to me, and I love finding out about such startling social idiosyncrasies.
