RE: We sold it all, and never looked back.

I know what you mean! Although I never intended for what happened to happen. I live out in the middle of nowhere and for the longest time we did not have any electricity. We still do not have running water. We learned to control the television which we finally have after four years.

It was the hard row to hoe but thankfully even though sometimes I want to throw the computer against the wall and go back to nothing again. There is Steemit and cryptocurrency - so sometimes one must suck it up and deal with all the high tech.

I wrote a series of articles on facebook about how video can overload your brain, especially the short term memory and cause all the symptoms you document. Children can have their learning ability wiped out by too much video.

One of the interesting things about technology is that it is all new and evidence arises such as information overload that the technology can be over-consumed like a drug and have unforeseen side effects. It is nice to know someone else came to these conclusions as well. Welcome to Steemit

hi Jeff, yes it defiantly effects there brains, we met some German who are on the road like us, and all for of there children had never seen tv, and no Disney, only beautiful Japanese animated movies, and i have to say they are they most well behaved, well spoken (multiple languages) well balanced, peaceful 3 boys i have ever had the pleasure to meet.

steemit and cryptocurrency seem to be my only computer habits at the moment, but i feel more in control of steemit and cryptos , than i did when it was facebook and a Bank.

thank for the welcome
