[Poetry] My Tinfoil Rap - Very Fake News
Flat Earth and Russian Collusion
This is my attempt at a tinfoil rap,
with participants on Steemit from around the flat map.
I'm talking about a subject that can trigger many folk,
Something scoffers will deny and much fun they will poke.
There are two tin hat theories that many profess,
one of Russian collusion and the other a mess...
...of lies and deception that for five centuries,
has convinced the whole world it's a globe that they see.
While the television says the Russians hacked the election,
they're silent on the evidence of a great deception.
Balloons at the edge of space are seeing the truth,
Though our children's textbooks claim they have proof.

Molding tender young minds that the earth is round,
And the land of Antarctica is upside-down.
The truth is getting out in this age of information,
Skeptics try to debunk as this sweeps the nation.
But "Nevermind that!" the newspapers say,
"Trump's colluding with the Russians, impeach him today!"
The mainstream media has everything to loose,
So they focus our attention on their very fake news.
If they really cared a lot about a Russian collusion,
They should look a little closer at the NASA illusion.
NASA's photos from space should rightly carry no weight,
Cuz they can't even seem to get their continents straight.
But that's not a story we should worry about,
instead Russian hackers have a whole lotta clout.
They infested all our brains with a massive email dump,
and caused us all to think we should vote for Donald Trump.

Uhmmm.... I can't decide if this is satire or not. I'm starting to become a believer.... I'm not sure what I am becoming a believer in, but I am sure it is something I didn't believe in 2017.

There is definitely a gap for this type of poetry. Good rhymes. It reads as though you had fun creating it too.
