Kraken has been released and he is pissed
The workstation has been named The Kraken
People into geeky tech things, like to give weird and esoteric names for things that they spend hours and hours interfacing with. When I was in the Navy, we gave names to everything and everyone. I have now christened my new workstation The Kraken.
The meme of the Kraken being a Greek mythological creature is just not true.
The Kraken is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland.

It is Norse in origin. It is a meme that got started with a movie. How screwed up is that. Here I am walking around with a myth of a mythological creature in my head for years and years and it is false.
I'm 75% satisified by The Kraken
As system it does most of everything I want it to do. It is more than capable of handling server duties. It just lacks a little in the age department, lack of EPT hurts a bit in the latest Docker software. That is why I will start moving to Linux based OS. Linux in some ways is hard, but the basics are the same, wither using Windows or Linux. Right now I'm messing around with VMs as a way to get a good foundation to understanding Linux.
How deep does your knowledge go
Me and my friends have been discussing an idea. These days you can't be a generalist in knowledge . Our memory can only hold so much information. What we do now is hold index pointers into Google Search. This gives us the ability to become very expert in one narrow area of expertise, but be very shallow in other areas.

Controversy with lack of transparency
There is a controversy in games that are played on Steemit. The lack of transparency suggest a Caveat Emptor situation, but is also calling out for a way to audit off chain processes from within the chain.
Several things come to mind:
- Need specific rules of processing published on chain
- Capable of auditing from various aspects
- transaction
- user
- post
