Before Giving Speeches, The Demonstration Was Full of People - Shouting oOaths
Dozens of students in Lhokseumawe, Aceh who are members of the Aceh Pro-Democracy Student Front (FMPA) held an action at the Kuta Blang Intersection, Lhokseumawe City, in commemoration of Aceh's 14th Peace Day. They criticized the government for being not able to realize all the points of the MoU that had been agreed between the government of the Republic of Indonesia and Aceh in Helsikni, Geneva.
By using a pickup truck that has been fitted with a poster that reads "14 Years of the Heslinki MoU, Winning the Law of the Government of Aceh, 74 Years of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Winning the Pancasila". The action of giving a speech began with shouting 'Student Oath'.
"We Indonesian students swear!
One soil! Homeland without oppression!
We Indonesian students swear!
One nation! A nation that loves justice!
We Indonesian students swear!
One Language ! Language without lies!
If there are 1000 people fighting for the truth,
Then make sure I am one of them,
If there are 100 people who fight for the truth,
Then make sure I am one of them,
If there are 10 people who fight for the truth,
Then make sure I am one of them,
If there is 1 person who is fighting for the truth,
Make sure and watch, that's me!!!"
Furthermore, the demonstrations continued speeches to convey aspirations to the government. One of the orators invited all elements to oversee the Law on the Government of Aceh so that it could be realized.
He also said that in 74 years of Indonesian independence, there were still many problems that had not been resolved by the central government.
"74 Years of Indonesian Independence there are still imbalances that occur in various provinces, especially Aceh and Papua."
Thanks For Watching!!!
