Larredix asks "How can we be sure that ETH (Ethereum) will be a fat protocol and capture value? It could be optimised as a cheap low-level protocol".

Here's my response!

Traditionally, we saw the internet stack value was more towards Applications i.e. "fat" applications and "thin" protocols. For example, protocols used mail transfer SMTP etc brought in value to the internet but got captured by Applications like GMAIL, AOL, YAHOO and other services because these applications made $Billions.

With the emergence of blockchain this has flipped the side with "fat" protocols and "thin" applications. Examples being the Bitcoin and Ethereum being clearly the dominant blockchain networks worth $Billions and we don't see any application at the moment being worth close to $Billion.

Nice Video @louisthomas & Thanks for sharing your view on Fat protocol theory and views on Ethereum. Cheers.

agree ethereum should capture the value being the platform it all runs on. They could be taking more the Microsoft approach. Be the decentralized operating system for programmable blockchains. I like ethereum being considered in the category of crypto fuel.

Well what is See and ,As per my research it is legit. And it cab be applied to ETH .

The fat layer protocol or the thin layer protocol?

The protocol layer will continue to be the biggest (fattest), and the application layer will be much thinner as it contains much less value .

But what about EOS? What do you think?

To answer your question poised: Yes, you have to have a fat layer protocol to to serve the thin layer applications.

It might it might not, I think currently now anything is admissible by all means please, the fat protocol might apply I'm looking at ethetereum as one of the biggest crypto project and well let's see as it goes

@louisthomas, I've heard about these Terms for the first time and i will going to know about it more, but i have to say that and in my opinion Etherium is catching more and more Reputation day by day. Stay blessed.
