Why would people at so many shootings describe seeing multiple men in black if there was only one (possibly not even dressed in black)?
Panicking people tend to see scary things everywhere. Especially dangerous men in black.
For example: In a shooting in Munich a lot of witnesses saw the "killer", which was just one of the policeman.
That's why many witnesses aren't useful in the courtroom - even when they don't lie on purpose.
