My goal with my live Radio show 'Crypto Talk Monday' is to make a show that is full of info and last for exactly an hour.
Yesterday #1 Steem witness Matt Rosen '@yabapmatt' came on for 1 hour and after an ever so slight bump in the program where I lost my connection for 20 seconds, we talked non-stop about Steem, Steem-engine, and Splinterlands.
Have you ever wondered when a transaction is truly finalized on Steem? What Custom JSONS are and what you can do with them when you combine them with the Steem Blockchain? Matt also answers the question of why there is a limit of 1 Custom JSON per account per block atm and why this will be increased to 5 in HF21.
How's Steem-Engine doing? And in what way is it centralized and decentralized? And what are the future plans? and how do Steem-Engine tokens differ from SMT's?
We also talk about Splinterlands, the upcoming guild feature, the mobile app, and the business and revenue model they use to build an amazing application on top of Steem that brings money into our Steem blockchain.

Excellent interview, gentlemen. It's always better when the information comes straight from the source and Matt would be correct when he mentioned the wealth of misinformation being spread around by those not in the know. When it comes to the Steem Engine and tribes, this little interview here helped boost my confidence in the project. Good job. I needed that.

Do you take requests btw? I think getting the guys from @steemhunt (not actually sure who they are!) on for an interview would be good - it's a very interesting platform and they've got reviewhunt/ ideahunt coming up and then there's the whole ERC20 token release rather than waiting for Steem to question them about.
It'd be great to hear more from them, although I'm not even sure if they even count as a 'Steem Dapp' anymore? Still, it would be interesting to hear from them!
And it looks like they've got the whole issue of bringing fiat in sorted.
@starkerz also gives a good interview, although I've heard his arguments twice in person and more and more than that in various discord shows, so that's a top request for everyone else!

Brilliant interview, @exyle and @yabapmatt! As I already mentioned on Discord, all my questions and concerns regarding both Steem Engine and Splinterlands have been answered and I feel much more relieved about my investment and the way where this is all going.
I hope to see more decentralization effort for Steem Engine from both the team and the community, to run nodes and appropriately incentivize that somehow.
And the active posting key requirement setting for sending cards and DEC comes also at the right time, where more and more concerns about that were being shared among the community.

Amazing interview there with @yabapmatt, didn't know the man behind these audacious projects neither have I had this pleasure from this up "close and personal kinda session" like it was at the beginning. But it's great to hear him talk about himself where he's from and a whole lot about him. The number one Steem witness? Well we can't or couldn't have expected less and he's not failed to deliver, it was so amazing listening to the talk of the prices, steem engine and the Steem future in general. Welldone for bringing this one @exyle. You keep hitting it big when you do 3speak
