Podcast talks about responsible fairness at Google and JPB Liberty
Notes on Brianoflondon.me
I’m discussing the latest Project Veritas video and linking that to the Mundia Modia theory I’ve spoken of before (read the essay here).
Unfortunately, and this is something I’ve struggled with because of the naming convention my friend used: I probably inverted Mundia and Modia in the explanation! Mundia is the real physical world, Modia is the world of interpersonal relationships between people. I’m more Mundian than Modian. I suspect that what makes Trump so interesting is his ability to excel in both Modian and Mundian worlds.
There’s also a short little explanation of what it is to be an Indigenous Jew in Israel… because I got some comments while I was filming this live.

Very important issue indeed

Thanks for making this clear here. Do you think this will add weight to the class action law suit against Facebook et al?
I certainly saw that some out in the world of general social media were ridiculing this idea of a court case, but I don't see how that is a reasonable position, given the data.
Libra doesn’t fundamental change the court case we are bringing but it substantially hurts any potential defence Facebook might have tried to justify their behavior.

I see this crypto cryptocurrency as a threat to our platform without mentioning that already facebook to do business with the information of personal data to governments that tells us that they also will not get their hands on our money once they have it on their platform I I do not see it for sure
For me, behind the "Libra" is the government, it is a way for the government to participate in something that supposedly is unsettled, besides Facebook owes that to the government! It is a way to control the world market and reduce the influence of China in the crypto trade, it is a war and they go with everything !!
While I can see its merit for Facebook and the centralisation of the web by merging eCommerce with social media I feel like there comes a point where we have to say how much are we willing to give up to a private company for the sake of convenience.
We already have Google and Facebook centralising web traffic and choking off independents through really no fault of their own. Perhaps it does bring mass adoption and people eventually migrate to decentralised alternatives, we don't know.
Never the less an interesting development
