Breaking out
Nowadays we're define ourselves as the modern humans, but in fact our physical appearance is still the same as over thousand years ago. Our body has not changed. Nor our brains. We still need the personal connection to other people. We need to move around, walk, run. We need to be under the sun, breathing fresh air in our lungs.
But most of us aren't acting like it's natural. Most of the week, we are sitting in a neon lighted room breathing climatized air. We often don't even talk to other people face to face, instead were video chatting.
Our lives became so unnatural.
What are we doing?
Sitting in an air-connditioned conference room today, not seeing any real light, I just wanted to break out. Take of my shoes and walk barefoot in the grass with the sun burning on my face.
There is this urge in me to connect to nature.
Cause that's in my nature. That's in our nature.
The header (banner) on your blog page allows you to provide information about yourself - for instance, from which country you are.
It seems to be the 'new' thing for new members not to fill in this info.
Steemit has some very strong communities. If you do not want to admit or show what country you come from, they cannot back you. There really is no reason to hide who you are - unless you are going to be making political posts, in which case I hope you did not give your real name.
