It's blue Friday and so let's get moody. This photo was taken in Vancouver's Coal Harbour at sunset on a very cloud day. Mid-winter blues threatened. But I took this picture and robbed it of its soul sucking power.
Just in case you are wondering which boat is mine. This is a complete work of metaphor. So they are ALL mine. Thanks for viewing and commenting. You are appreciated, all you beautiful people. keep those blues mellow:):):)
As a boater and a sailor, this speaks to me, not least of which because blue is also my favorite color.
And yeah. Blue cloudy days can suck the life right out of us, if we let them. So don't.

Sailing gets into your blood. There is just something magical in being on a boat that is responding to the wind and the waves without the artifice of a motor.
I lived for those times when we cut the motor. ;-)
