Six Years in This Place - Day 110 - Daily Haiku - Smartphone Photography

Six years in this place
feels like we came yesterday
feels like forever

Cori MacNaughton

Our first peony of the season has finally opened, and it isn't even from the main bush, but from the much smaller one next to our studio. But it is lovely all the same, and has a light and lovely fragrance.

Our main bush, despite my fears that it would suffer a die off as it did last year, is still going strong, so I indeed seem to have taken out the black walnut seedling just in time.

The peony has many buds swelling and getting ready to open, though all of the peonies are behind where they were this time last year, as they were in beginning full bloom on April 19th, whereas this year, here is our first bloom on May 4th. Such are the vagaries of our weird winter weather for the past three years.

I took this photo earlier today with my Samsung Note 8 smart phone, along with several other photos of spring flowers, and other interesting plants around our place.

Hopefully I'll get the chance to post some of those over the weekend.

Dr. Al Sears, well known anti-aging doctor, with his first-class

Melaleuca, a company that has been making natural, eco-friendly
products since the 1980s, that not only work as well as
chemically laden versions from the supermarket,
but are safer, and typically save money overall in addition.

I was introduced to them by a co-worker in 1990, lost track
of them, and was thrilled to find them again about a year
and a half ago. I strongly recommend their products.

Prime My Body offers a nanoenhanced hemp-based CBD oil

All words and images are my own.

The photo of our dog, Lolo, and our late cat, Miod, I took as they were cooperatively begging at the dinner table, despite our longstanding rule of not feeding them from the table.

You can see how much that deterred them both.

Thanks, @brokemancode! I'm still enjoying the process.

I'm about to re-start my editing process for a volume of my poetry, but since I started your challenge, I think I'll give my haiku their own volume, with a few notable exceptions.

Perhaps, "A Year of Haiku." What do you think? ;-)

Yes I'm good with it @crescendoofpeace :)
I'll support it

Thanks! You definitely deserve a lot of the credit for putting your #thirtydayhaikuchllenge out there! ;-)
