Signs of spring are here
the frogs are calling nightly
not a day too soon

Ah yes, spring is here, and I spent the evening with a friend in Cookeville, only to be greeted upon my return by the sight of my dog's FOUR piles of runny poop on the living room carpet.
The easily cleaned hard surfaces in the house were, naturally, poop free.
Yes, our dog is house trained, but he evidently had diarrhea, most likely from Marek giving him chicken bones night before last.
Ah, the glamour life. ;-)
More worrying, he rubbed the spot at the back of his nose, where his nose meets his fur, completely raw, to the point that it was bleeding when I came in. Needless to say, I'll be taking him to the vet later today, after I get a few hours sleep. Oh, joy.

The photo of our dog, Lolo, and our late cat, Miod, I took as they were cooperatively begging at the dinner table, despite our longstanding rule of not feeding them from the table.
