PEQUEÑO ESCARABAJO- LITTLE BEETLE

Hace días, pude fotografiar a este insecto, el cual es autóctono en México, se le conoce como barrenador del naranjo o torito (Trachyderes mandibularis) es una especie de escarabajo que se alimenta de frutos (tunas) y de verduras (nopal verdura), es un insecto muy llamativo gracias a sus colores naranja y negro, lo que hace que sea muy visible desde lejos, otro detalle llamativo son sus antenas son igualmente negras con franjas naranjas, largas y gruesas , lo que le hace todavía mas interesante de ver y fotografiar, aquí pude captarlo tranquilo descansando sobre una hoja.
