You forgot my advise on votes.

"You forgot my advise on votes."

Steemit is too difficult for simple folks like me.

Too difficult for me too, despite being here almost non-stop for over 18 months.
Some basic activities require programming skills.
I need to update my advise to you, because if you upvote yourself with low power immediately, un-vote later and then upvote with full force, it seems that you still lose curation rewards by doing so.
You need to do it with a different account, and there are even clumsier solutions, but they work for sure, even if riskier and costlier.
Have you registered to trybe.one already or know about other alternatives?

I am getting out of Steemit, just waiting for an uptick, so that I can sell all of it for NEO and ADA.

What's the use of Steemit?

You can just as well post on Youtube videos. Choice enough.

Here you can't even see how many people have watched your post. And on top of it, if you criticize big guys for them harassing others by downvoting or spamming others posts while the content is ok or even HQ, they turn against you and you become their next target.

No point on staying in this asocial media time sink and waisting effort and money for nothing.

Life is too short to spend it on a loosing game.

I mostly agree.
Regarding waiting for the uptick, steem goes down while you wait for it, and will probably go down even more.
It will rise in some moment in the future, but who knows how much more downside it has until then, and if it will even get to the current price after that rise, and even then it will resume its down trend, just because its inflation rate will still be over 8% and will always be at least 0.5%.

I am not trying to convince you to buy trybe.one's currency.
I believe that it is freemium too, or whatever it is called.
You get 100 units of its currency for free just by registering, and in December there will be an airdrop for holders of its currency, which you can get for free, if you register there with a valid EOS wallet address.
What I wrote to you about trybe.one may be wrong, and I am currently not registered myself, but I may do it soon, because December will come in less than 3 weeks from now, and with it an opportunity to benefit from the airdrop.
