A famous thief had stolen the crown jewel of the kingdom of Magnolia. Enraged, the king ordered his army to find and apprehend the thief but without success. Out of option, the king announced that whoever catch the thief and return the crown jewel...

...will be honored as the kingdom's hero! Not only that, but that person will also be given a large amount of gold and a territory. The news thunder throughout the kingdom, and even mercenaries from another land came to try their luck. Among them..

...the traveling bard Thomas. When the news of the rewards reached Thomas, the bard quickly traveled towards Magnolia. But unlike the adventurers and mercenaries, Thomas didn't came for the reward, instead he went to Magnolia to witness the event.

...points to Thomas and said, "I want you to be part of my party. Everyone knows a good group needs a bard. When we succeed, we shall share the spoils!" He introduced himself as Osman, a paladin of The Order.

One by one the group introduced themselves. Athena is a priestess from the holy kingdom of Fronterra. Luke is a knight from Greevis. Stein the thief hails from Meetis. Then there's Saori from the mysterious east continent. She calls herself a "ninja"

    With the introduction complete, the group went to their temporary headquarters to plan their next move. Stein suggest going to the slum and asked local thieves and pickpockets fir informations.

    While the group are chatting, they are suddenly approached by another group. The group stopped at their table and smirks at Osman and his party, obviously with bad intentions. When the leader was about to say something, he is met with a fist.

    "She's from the eastern continent?" Thomas asked, amazed. He heard of the mysterious eastern continent before. According to merchants and adventurers who went there, people there follows strange customs. "She's indeed from that place," answered Osman

    Now that Thomas officially became a member, Osman led him to a local restaurant to celebrate, saying that it's a trafition of thrir group. Seeing nothing wrong with it, Thomas agreed. But before they could reach the restaurant...

    After the brief introduction, the group went to around gathering informations about the thief. As they are asking around, Stein was approached by another thief he knows. The thief claimef that he might have the information they needed.

    "What's a ninja?" Thomas asked confused. "It should be called assassin in our language, except, ninja's served lords and not just payed to assassinate like ours," explained Osman. "Interesting! So which lord is she serving?" Thomas asked again.
